MetroNorth Chamber collecting school supplies for local children

The MetroNorth Chamber is collecting school supplies as part of CEAP's (Community Emergency Assistance Program) Back to School Drive.  We believe that a small investment in a child's education can bring huge benefits to the child, the family, and the community.
Items can be dropped off at the Chamber by August 14.
Chamber staff will be collecting supplies at the August 7 and 14 Sunrises. For any member who brings supplies to either of those Sunrises, we will hold a drawing for a free Sunrise breakfast - just our way of saying thank you for supporting this very worthwhile cause.
Supplies needed are: backpacks, #2 pencils and sharpeners, red pencils, erasers, red/blue/black ink pens, boxes of 16 or 24 crayons, colored pencils, highlighters, Crayola watercolor paints, washable markers, fine-tipped markers, dry erase markers, safety scissors, white glue, glue sticks, loose leaf wide-ruled paper, wide-ruled notebooks, pocket folders, compasses, protractors, 3-ring binders, index cards, school boxes/pencil cases, scientific calculators, rulers, boxes of facial tissue, USB flash drives, combinationlocks.
